Welcome!

Chabad of Weston invites you to join us for our High Holiday Services at our beautiful and spacious sanctuary at Chabad of Weston Center for Jewish Life.

Among Chabad’s core motifs is that services are not just about prayers and rituals, but more so about celebrating Judaism as a dynamic and enriching community experience; an experience shared joyfully and harmoniously by Jews of all backgrounds and walks of life.

Indeed, Ahavat Yisroel – the unconditional love and acceptance of a fellow Jew – is a driving force behind all of Chabad of Weston’s programs. Our “no membership policy” means that everyone is welcome to participate in whatever services, classes or programs appeal to them. Our doors and our hearts are always open. If this makes for a warm and inviting atmosphere all year round, it does so all the more during the Days of Awe.

So, whether you’ve joined with us in the past or this will be your first such experience, be prepared to usher in the Year 5786 in a spirit of joy and solidarity that is the hallmark of High Holidays with Chabad of Weston!

Schedule

Services with Chabad of Weston are designed to make everyone feel welcome and at home. The prayers, conducted with Hebrew/English prayer books, are lively, engaging and inclusive – spiced with inspiring tunes and insightful explanations throughout – allowing all to absorb the experience at their own level. Whether you consider yourself Reform or Conservative, Orthodox or unaffiliated, Sefardi or Ashkenazi, well-versed or unversed; at Chabad, the labels and classifications fall away – as all stand equally beloved before G-d. Sermons and announcements likewise speak to all participants, and are always topical, relevant, stimulating and enlightening. See Schedule

Junior Congregation

One of the main attractions of Chabad’s High Holiday Services is our Junior Congregation — a full program of well supervised activities for children ages 3-11 held during Serivces (see schedule). Divided into age groups led by an experienced staff, children get to experience the joy of the holidays in their own special way.

Rosh Hashanah Dinner

Join us for festive Rosh Hashanah dinner on the first night of the holiday — Monday, September 22. Enjoy a full-course catered meal featuring traditional holiday delicacies, uplifting songs, and meaningful inspiration. These dinners are open to individuals and families alike.

Advance reservations are required and space is limited.

Kibbudim Opportunites

There is an established tradition through the generations that being called up to the Torah – especially on the holiest days on the Jewish calendar – is a great source of merit and blessing, as the individuals thus called upon stand before the Almighty as representatives of the entire congregation.

High Holiday Appeal

Each year on Kol Nidrei Eve, Chabad of Weston holds a sacred appeal to support its outreach and social service programs, with pledges placed in the Holy Ark for the duration of Yom Kippur as a source of blessing for donors and their families. This year, you can once again participate in advance by submitting your pledge online, which will be printed and placed in the Ark throughout all Yom Kippur services, helping sustain Chabad of Weston’s vital programs in 5786.
