What is Chabad of Weston?
Chicken soup on Friday night. The light in a child’s eyes when he reads his first Hebrew word. A helping hand in times of need. Chabad is a home away from home for every Jew in Weston. We are dedicated to serving our community - and now we’re asking for your support to help us launch the last year of our first quarter century.
How does a Match Campaign work?
Times are strange. Just a few months ago Chabad of Weston Center for Jewish Life was a place where many people came daily and weekly to learn, gain, socialize and enjoy the beauty of Jewish life. Now, the center waits daily for Jewish life to get back to what it was, or even better, to come back stronger than before. Through all of this, we are so grateful to our generous donors who stepped up to, once again, match dollar for dollar so that we can keep our center afloat even through these challenging times. For 48 hours, every dollar that you donate will be matched by 6 generous friends who are ensuring that when the time is right, we will be ready for the Jewish renaissance we will all be so ready for.
How can I help?
You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the residents of Weston by contributing to our campaign this Monday, 5/25 at 2pm to Wednesday, 5/27 at 2pm, and by spreading the word. Maimonides says that every good deed, no matter how small, tips the scale of humanity toward goodness. Today you have the opportunity to see the impact of that deed multiplied many times over.
